PR: Cylinders Holding signed the memorandum of import and treating of hydrogen

Cylinders Holding group and a polish partner, whose share in accordance with arrangements will not be publicized, signed the memorandum of import of hydrogen to Czech Republic and a development of secondary refining technology for hydrogen powered cars. At the same time both partners agreed to cooperate with specialised university centres on both sides of the border. „Building of infrastructure for compression and transport of hydrogen to hydrogen filling stations is significant part of agreements too,“ general director of Cylinders Holding Jan Světlík pointed out.

Partnership aims at creation of comprehensive offer of services for supplying filling stations and promotion of hydrogen as an alternative fuel for transportation. At the same time, it will not concern just the forthcoming filler in Moravian-Silesian Region, filler which should be erected in Ostrava roughly within two years. Both groups plan to supply whole of Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia.

Cylinders Holding has mastered technologies for transportation and storing of hydrogen. Group is suplier to four from five big technological global players – both in the field of energetics and mobility/storing. It has solved hydrogen storage for working pressures 350, 500 and 1000 bar and so called hydrogen transport, that is to say, transit in mobile storage tanks.

Group works on development of hydrogen technologies with Czech Hydrogen Technology Platform HYTEP of which it is a member. Regarding academia, group is a partner of ENET Centre at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, which develops energy sources with use of waste economy, local renewable resources and Industry 4.0. Cylinders Holding work together with Moravian-Silesian Region on hydrogen mobility in region.
